Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited is applying for a Class ‘A’ license under the Aggregate Resources Act to permit a below water pit on lands located on Part of Lots 23, 24 and 25, Concession 1 (Geographic Township of Horton) in the County of Renfrew. The site is referred to as the Renfrew Golf Pit.
The area proposed to be licensed is approximately 40.5 hectares (ha) with 31.6 ha proposed for extraction. The maximum annual extraction limit for the site is proposed to be 1,000,000 tonnes.
The application has been prepared in accordance with the Aggregate Resources of Ontario Standards (August 2020).
